Drawn to light, light is my drawing medium in photography.
\nI, however, do not literally draw with light beam in front of the lens. These photographs are part of an ongoing black and white series exploring the life of forms from 2009 to date. Just as light travels through space and shapes life, my contemplation of forms through light continues wherever life take me, from San Francisco to Philadelphia and Taipei. They are discoveries revealed by configurations of light as it describes, shapes, and ultimately transforms. Over the course of my explorations, I have adopted a multifaceted process involving cross-processing, conversion and post-manipulation in order to see the shapes of life formed through the changes in the quality of light in different phase of my creative process.
